Branding the Hotel's restaurant turned a non-revenue earning space into a real profit generator. Our sleeper/diner ratio has improved dramatically and you need to book well in advance for weekend reservations. I also firmly believe that the association with Marco Pierre White name attracts guests to the hotel in favour of other hotels in the area. The Black and White franchise provides a comprehensive service and their marketing initiates are far better than anything a single hotel could manage.

It is hard to write a short testimonial about BWHM Hospitality when the team have done so much to help us operate our first hotel and MPW restaurant franchise. We required a management company that would hold our hands every step of the way, from helping us avoid the pitfalls of pre-opening to successfully opening and running our business. BWHM's wealth of knowledge in the industry has been back bone of our success.

When we first considered working with Black and White hospitality it was with a little fear and trepidation; as an independently owned hotel we are able to follow our own path and we were concerned that the decision-making process would be too prescriptive .
However, we really didn't need to worry as the whole team work together with us for the betterment of both our restaurant and their brand.
Every member of the Black and White team is totally focused on helping us to achieve our end goal and theirs. There is always a good cross section of ideas from both sides and franchisee your opinion counts. We are currently bringing a second unit into brand and look forward to another mutually successful partnership.

As a consequence, we have more profitable, more stable business, which in turn means our investor returns are continuing to improve and we have fewer management headaches in the knowledge that Nick, Caroline, Shezan and the rest of the team are on the case.
Since 2016, I have been involved with Cadbury House Hotel in my capacity as a Board Observer, representing funds invested in the hotel, managed by Downing LLP.
Over the past few years, the business has transformed considerably under the leadership of Nick, Caroline and Shezan at Black and White Hospitality. The team has led the hotel and club through a significant refurbishment programme, successfully opening a Marco Pierre White Steak House & Grill and almost doubling the number of rooms. As a result, the performance of the hotel has improved year on year, and the club now enjoys a 4000-strong member base. Additionally, the hotel has won a number of awards in recent times, including winning the hotel of the year at the Bristol Lifestyle Awards.
I am continually impressed at the team’s ability to pivot the business to ensure its success through their meticulous ‘hands-on’ management and ability to make difficult decisions when required. Consequently, our investors’ returns have improved over time and we remain optimistic for the hotel’s future.
