Marco Pierre White
Dubbed the Godfather of modern day cookery, Marco is an investor, shareholder and main Board Director. Marco works closely with the Brand team to ensure his principles and standards are translated into every new restaurant. Marco is behind every new concept and menu. Unsurprisingly, he is key to the inception and execution of all new dishes and offerings.
As the CEO and majority shareholder of this exciting venture, Nick has 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. He has worked closely with Marco in recent years to develop all of the different franchise concepts available. Nick’s hospitality experience expands F&B. Prior to BWH, Nick was MD at Sanguine Hospitality where he was responsible for developing and managing branded hotels and luxury health clubs and spas. Today, his role is focused on driving BWH’s expansion strategy and overseeing its operational activities. He is also an investor in both Cadbury House and The Cube.
Caroline is both a shareholder and Finance Director at BWH. She is also an investor in Cadbury House and the Cube. Her background spans 25 years in the hospitality and finance
sector. Her previous role was Finance Director at Sanguine Hospitality and before that she spent a number of years at Forte Hotels and Macdonald Hotels. Caroline sits on a number of external investment boards as a non-exec director and manages assets of more than £200m.
Shezan is a Director at BWH and sits on the main board of our parent company Black and White Hospitality Management Ltd. He is an active shareholder in the Cube and also oversees the operation of the hotel management arm of the business. Shezan has more than 20 years’ experience within hospitality and has worked with major industry brands including Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Wyndham.
Angela is a Director at BWH and sits on the main board of our franchise business. She is a key part of our expansion plans overseeing sales and
new opening strategy and training. Angela’s 23 years’ experience encompasses Brand Development and Operations across a varied portfolio of restaurants and bars, stadium hospitality, pubs, museums and theatres. She has worked for organisations including Living Ventures, The Restaurant Group, The Lindley Group, Henry J Beans and The Crown Group.
Shaun has a wealth of experience working with leading food, beverage and leisure brands alongside high street operators, including Bella Italia, Costa, Holiday Inn Hotels, Marston’s, Mitchells and Butlers and Krispy Kreme. As Brand Director, Shaun is key to driving and implementing strategy across our franchised restaurants. He adopts a very collaborative approach to working which is key to our restaurant support and engagement.
As Marketing Director, Jade focuses on developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and revenue across all of our franchised restaurants through brand-wide seasonal campaigns. She places a big emphasis on the full marketing mix utilising digital, PR and creative tactics to deliver results. She has a wealth of industry experience and has worked on the Marco Pierre White brand for the last 5 years, developing a great understanding of campaigns and tactics to drive customers into our businesses.
As Training Manager for BWH, Jennie plays a key part in developing the training strategy across our franchised restaurants and hotel management arm of the business. She has more than 15 years’ experience within learning and development and worked with major industry brands.
As Chef Director, Andrew, heads up the food division at BWH. It is a key role within our business and one Marco personally recommended Andrew for. Andrew is one of Marco’s protégé’s after Marco recruited him at the age of 17 to work at his Yew Tree restaurant. Andrew has worked at a number of Marco restaurants and prior to joining BWH he was heading up a group of 20 restaurants for Marco. Today, he works closely with Marco on food development and standards. In addition, his day to day activity also involves restaurant auditing, chef development and training.
Richard works alongside Andrew to head up procurement for BWH. He has a varied role and is key to the F&B business to ensure food quality, standards and margins are met to drive the all-important profit conversion. Richard also works closely with the new opening teams to support procurement of both light and heavy equipment where required. Richard also owns his own procurement business which gives us excellent access to very competitive pricing and group deals.
